Rihanna and Chris Brown Reunite On New Songs

Story Highlight

The former couple shock the music world

Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have shocked the music world by collaborating together.

The former couple have guested on each other’s remixes, which they both posted links to at the same time on Twitter yesterday.

Brown lends his vocals to a reworked version of Rihanna’s track ‘Birthday Cake’ while RiRi sings on ‘Turn Up The Music’.

On Brown’s track, Rihanna sings the line "I love you baby" while he adds the raunchy lines "Girl I wanna f*** you right now, been a long time I've been missing your body" to her song.

Rihanna was attacked by Chris Brown shortly before the 2009 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Brown is currently serving five years’ probation after he pleaded guilty to the assault and only had his restraining order removed last year.

Despite their turbulent past, the pair’s resolved relationship has sparked intense media speculation in recent months, mainly fuelled by tweets to each other.

Rihanna performs at The BRIT Awards at London’s O2 Arena tonight. You can watch it live on ITV1 from 8pm.
