All Scottish
Story Highlight
Roll back the carpets, chairs on the table... It's like having a ceilidh in your living room!
Next Show: 23rd February 2012
Every Thursday from 7pm, “All Scottish” offers listeners on 1107AM, digital and online a wide selection of music and song – mostly traditional, but also evolving styles.
A “shop window” for new and established artists All Scottish features popular favourites, lesser known artists, newly released albums plus some “oldies” –vinyl or old 78’s in our “down in the Cellar” feature.
Most weeks Mrs Mac hosts a phone-in competition, setting the question, then manning five phone lines while John and Ben sit back relaxing, playing a few tracks, having a little chat. On average Mrs Mac manages to take around 90 to 100 calls within the hour allocated to the competition. A one-woman call centre! Call her on 0345 345 1107.

Enjoy the relaxed spontaneity of the show.
Fans say they feel as if we are having a wee informal ceilidh and a blether in their own living rooms.
Maybe that’s because we are – we don’t really believe in scripts!
The huge popularity of the phone-in competitions and stream of regular email contacts during the show (from listeners at home and abroad) gives a sense of “presence” bringing audience and presenters together to make the show.
For music, song anKeep pen and paper handy, for details of Accordion & Fiddle Club dates and other Scottish events of interest around the Moray Firth Radio area, and some beyond.
"All Scottish" is a programme not to be missed!
3 Hours of the best of Scottish, every Thursday from 7pm on MFR Two.
